[Plymouth, MN, November 25, 2024] Seacole is pleased to announce the promotion of its Director of Operations Romel Virasami to Vice President of Operations. Mr. Virasami assumed his new role in August 2024.
Romel Virasami was hired as Director of Operations in March 2023. Since then, he has managed all day-to-day operations at Seacole, including distribution, manufacturing, warehouse, and shipping and receiving. Seacole has now recognized Mr. Virasami’s exceptional performance and leadership abilities with a promotion to Vice President of Operations. He joins the senior leadership team at Seacole, helping shape the chemical manufacturing and distribution company’s short and long-term goals and its vision for the future.
Mr. Virasami began his professional journey at Apex International. He then spent seven years as the operations manager at DMC before joining CIC as its operations director in 2014. At CIC, Mr. Virasami played a pivotal role in overseeing the company’s operational growth from $10 million to $45 million, while managing all operational activities. In March 2023, he joined Seacole as Director of Operations.
Mr. Virasami’s years of experience in operational management as well as his industry relationships and experience make him an important member of the leadership team. “Romel has proven to be an invaluable member of the Seacole team,” explains Seacole CEO Gregg Elliott. “Romel’s dedication to our team and our customers ensures Seacole continues to manufacture and distribute products accurately, safely, and on time.”
