Customer Service Representative

We are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team. Job Requirements & Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls and emails from customers promptly and professionally.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide accurate information.
- Send order confirmations: Confirm details of customer orders.
- Order Status: Keep customers informed about their order progress.
- Shipment Tracking: Assist with tracking shipments.
- Backorders: Communicate anticipated availability.
- Order Changes: Process modifications efficiently.
ORDER MANAGEMENT

Collaboration and Relationship Building
- Work closely with other departments (such as logistics, sales, and purchasing) to resolve customer issues.
- Foster strong relationships across teams to enhance overall customer service.
- Issue Escalation:
- Identify and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or management.
- Follow established procedures to address customer concerns effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Experience: 2+ years’ experience in Customer Service and Order Entry, manufacturing industry experience a plus
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy is essential in order processing and customer interactions.
- Collaborative Approach: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries effectively.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Microsoft Office skills; experience with ERP systems a plus
