Industrial Cleaning Sales Representative

We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven outside Sales Representative for our Industrial Cleaning segment. The primary responsibility of the Industrial Cleaning Sales Representative is to maintain and expand Seacole’s chemical sales at existing customers, and to grow this business through the development of new accounts. This position provides technical assistance at current accounts, and identifies new chemical opportunities in the industrial cleaning market with either prospective customers or existing accounts.

Job Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Five (5) years sales experience developing new business in the specialty chemical, industrial cleaning, or related marketplace
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, business, or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in industrial cleaning strongly preferred
  • Experience in applying project management tools a plus
  • Ability to think strategically and develop long and short term sales plans
  • Results oriented and consistently achieves sales plans
  • Self-starter with a “hunter” mentality, yet effective at building lasting relationships
  • Team player who can effectively lead a project development team
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, at all levels of the company
  • Can thrive out of a home office environment away from corporate headquarters. Location near the Twin Cities Metro Area preferred.

Essential Job Tasks

  • Maintain chemical business at existing customers by providing information, technical assistance and problem solving skills
  • Target prospective Industrial Cleaning customers by identifying needs and presenting solutions
  • Maintain a team approach by utilizing Seacole’s support and technical personnel  and supplier resources
  • Develop relationships with prospects to build trust and confidence
  • Enable communication between prospective accounts and support personnel of company to meet customer needs
  • Generate proposals and facilitate closing of new business
  • Communicate customer requirements within Seacole
  • Maintain a team approach with management and customer service to provide on-going support and management of customers
  • Develop short and long term strategies for growing Industrial Cleaning business to achieve company objectives, including sales plans and forecasts
  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of supplier products, Industrial Cleaning methods, and Seacole’s technical and operational capabilities

JOB TYPE: Full-Time

SALARY: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year, depending on experience, including commission
