Product Description

Aurous 19 is a powdered chemical used to produce a protective chromate conversion coating on aluminum which minimizes corrosion and provides an improved bond for painting. The coating produced can be used as a final finish

or can be dyed various colors. The innovative formulation enables the finisher to produce gold coatings with excellent corrosion protection as well as clear work using the same product.

Performance Features

QPL approved and listed, qualified under Specification Mil-C-81706.
Can be used to produce coatings conforming to Mil-C-5541.
Can be used to produce yellow or clear chromate films.
Can be applied by immersion or brush.
