Customer Service Representative

We are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team. Job Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming calls and emails from customers promptly and professionally.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide accurate information.
  • Send order confirmations: Confirm details of customer orders.
  • Order Status: Keep customers informed about their order progress.
  • Shipment Tracking: Assist with tracking shipments.
  • Backorders: Communicate anticipated availability.
  • Order Changes: Process modifications efficiently.

ORDER MANAGEMENT

Collaboration and Relationship Building

  • Work closely with other departments (such as logistics, sales, and purchasing) to resolve customer issues.
  • Foster strong relationships across teams to enhance overall customer service.
  • Issue Escalation:
  • Identify and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or management.
  • Follow established procedures to address customer concerns effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Experience: 2+ years’ experience in Customer Service and Order Entry, manufacturing industry experience a plus
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy is essential in order processing and customer interactions.
  • Collaborative Approach: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries effectively.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Microsoft Office skills; experience with ERP systems a plus

PAY: $25.00 to $26.00 per hour
