Metal Guard 900 is a viscous, solvent-based rust preventative which can be applied by dipping, spraying, or brushing onto the bare surfaces of parts. As the coating dries, a soft water-resistant amorphous coating forms which protects metal surfaces. This coating can be removed with a heated alkaline cleaner, or the bulk can be easily wiped away with the remainder removable with warm soapy water.
Metal Guard 900 is recommended for use on all metal surfaces where additional durability and protection are required. Metal Guard 900 will provide exterior protection. It can also be applied over galvanized parts to help prevent white rust. Use of Metal Guard 900 for unstated applications should be determined by the end user prior to actual production use.
