Aquastrip ACB is a mildly acidic liquid concentrate, which is used to remove tenacious polymeric coatings including epoxy paints from ferrous and non-ferrous metals. We DO NOT suggest the use of this product on zinc containing alloys. This fast, safe, and effective paint stripper does not contain any hazardous solvents. Aquastrip ACB is versatile and can be used at temperatures ranging 100o F – 180o F. However, it should be noted that using Aquastrip ACB at temperatures less than 120o F on metal parts is detrimental to the stripping solution, as well as the parts being stripped. The use of Aquastrip ACB at elevated temperatures will result in reduced strip times, but it will also reduce the solution bath life.
Aquastrip 110 is a neutral pH paint stripper designed for stripping paint from zinc alloys without damaging the underlying metals. It is designed to operate at temperatures of 140°F to 160°F with estimated stripping times of between 30 and 60 minutes when operated in that temperature range.

CHROME/ Clean can be operated at concentrations of 5-20% and temperatures of 70-140°F and is available in formulations suitable for either spray (CHROME/ Clean AC-1S) or immersion applications (CHROME/ Clean AC-1). During use, fractured particles from friable pumice continue to present sharp cutting edges rather than rounding off, thereby assuring a long and consistent operating life. Cu/SCRUB 4F-9.1 also exhibits a low concentration of free silica and is therefore safer to work with than traditional pumice.

DYNAPREP AS No.2 is a powdered product that is used with water and sulphuric acid to make a safe, highly stable solution for stripping zincate from aluminum. DYNAPREP AS No.2 can also be used to make a non-chelated, mild etch solution for copper. When used as recommended, this mixture will provide a clean, uniformly micro-etched copper surface that will readily accept electrolytic or electroless copper or nickel in printed circuit board or commercial applications.
DYNAPREP PFL is a unique phosphate-free, nonylphenol and nonylphenol ethoxylate-free cleaner and coater for improved paint adhesion for multi-metal applications. Dynaprep AE Additive #1 is an aluminum etch additive formulated to prevent sludge and scale while significantly extending the etch bath life. Dynaprep AE Additive #1 provides better bath control and allows the operation of the etch bath at higher levels of dissolved aluminum. This reduces the necessity of dumping or decanting the tank. This, in turn, reduces waste treatment costs versus straight caustic soda or other proprietary etches. Depending upon use, ENVIRO/Strip Cu can strip up to 150 g/L (20 opg) total metal with minimal precipitate formation. ENVIRO/Strip Cu is equally effective stripping plated or fused solder. EQUIPMENT/Cleaner 20 is a highly concentrated detergent designed specifically to remove chemical scale, hard water scale, dry film and LPISM residue, and anti-foam residue from automated developing and resist stripping equipment. It is employed at a concentration of 5-10% and recirculated through manifold plumbing to assure removal of residue in hard-to-reach areas including unplugging and descaling nozzles. Liquid Black Magic ABM is recommended for black oxide installations where it is desired to automate the replenishment additions of the blackening salt solution through a pump and liquid level control system. It is also ideal for the initial charging of black oxide baths which will be replenished with our conventional, dust free, powdered Activated Black Magic Plus salts.
A highly acidic liquid concentrate, META-CID AL is specially formulated for use in the pretreatment cycle of aluminum alloys. It is an excellent mild etch for aluminum and aluminum alloys prior to electroless nickel, anodizing, welding or applying chemical conversion coatings. It’s very uniform, controlled etching action produces a brighter, cleaner surface and has minimal effect on the dimensions of the work. META-CID AL, with its excellent deep-recess penetration and its long life, cleans hard-to-get-at places and holds soil in suspension in the bath at high capacities, which reduces or virtually eliminates smut formation on the work. META-CID AL is especially effective on difficult-to-plate alloys, particularly those rich in magnesium. It is ideal for high finish aluminum surfaces because it does not appreciably change the appearance of polished aluminum.
META-KLEEN 14 is an alkaline cleaner added to water to produce an etching and cleaning solution for a wide variety of aluminum alloys. META-KLEEN 14 produces a fine uniform etch which makes the process ideal for etching aluminum prior to anodizing, chemical treatments, electroplating and electroless plating, and chemical milling. The absence of residual, slimy aluminum hydroxide ensures a cleaner surface for subsequent finishing operations and a uniform, rapid etch rate for chemical milling applications. The residue that does form namely, aluminum hydroxide, can be easily flushed from the sides of the tank. Therefore, no scale forms on the heating coils, tanks or fittings. META-KLEEN 14 is suitable for etching all aluminum alloys. The degree of etching varies with the composition of the aluminum alloy. For example, the etching of 2024 aluminum may be 50% greater than 1100 aluminum. However, in all cases the etching action is greater than that obtained with sodium hydroxide solutions of equal alkalinity.
META-KLEEN HDS-40 is an excellent heavy duty soak cleaner that can also be substituted as an electrocleaner. This formulation provides good detergency for removing most fabricating soils and greases from ferrous and copper based metals. META-KLEEN HDS-40 is especially effective in cleaning tubular and wire goods where there may be considerable oils present. In addition to cleaning soils from stamping, grinding and drawing operations, META-KLEEN HDS- 40 also contains unique dispersing agents which prevents oils from clinging to racks or plating barrels, which will prevent contaminating subsequent rinse tanks and other pretreatment chemistries. META-KLEEN HDS-40 is an excellent choice when there are only one or two tanks in the cleaning line or when inventory needs to be reduced. In addition, it is specially formulated for hard water areas.
META-KLEEN JS-700 is a strongly alkaline balanced formula used as a reverse (anodic) electrocleaner for steel, copper and copper plated steel. It performs in hard water area and may be used as a soak cleaner, provided the soils are not too heavy. META-KLEEN JS-700 is especially effective in removing greases and oil used in many forming operations. Due to its rapid cleaning ability, META-KLEEN JS-700 has found excellent applications in cleaning tubular and wire goods where there is considerable soil in the low current density areas.
META-KLEEN X-29 is a non-silicate, mildly alkaline soak cleaner for use with most aluminum alloys. It may be used as a non-etch and mild-etch cleaner as well as a soak cleaner for zinc die- castings and other reactive metals. META-KLEEN X-29 is ideal for the non-etch cleaning of aluminum prior to anodizing, chromating, bright dipping, electroless plating and electroplating. Since no silicates are present, no residual siliceous films remain to cause non-uniform anodized or conversion coatings, and no fluoride-containing acid dips are required to remove such films.
META-MATE ZINCATE 40 is a cyanide free dilute zincate process for processing aluminum and its alloys. META-MATE ZINCATE 40 removes aluminum oxide and applies a thin zinc film on the aluminum alloy by immersion to prevent its re-oxidation. This film can then be electroplated with copper, nickel and certain other electrolytic processes as well as with electroless nickel. The dilute META-MATE ZINCATE 40 solution has low viscosity that rapidly penetrates the water film present on the cleaned aluminum. This new alloy process produces a denser, more uniform zinc film than what can be found with most other conventional zincates. This film has improved adhesion to the aluminum, helping to insure excellent adhesion of the subsequent plate.
META-MATE DEOX 92 is a concentrated easy to use liquid material designed to deoxidize and desmut aluminum prior to anodizing, bright dipping, chromating and plating. META-MATE DEOX 92 is non-chromated yet offers performance comparable to or better than most chromate bearing products. META-MATE DEOX 92 is formulated to deoxidize most all aluminum alloys including 2000 and 6000 series. It operates at room temperature, has an extended bath life and requires less frequent maintenance additions. The absence of chromium greatly reduces waste disposal costs and provides a safer work environment.

Metal Guard 180 is a water displacing, non-staining rust preventative that will rapidly separate water displaced from metal surfaces following machining or cleaning operations. This product is designed to apply an ultra-thin highly protective dry-to-touch film on ferrous or non-ferrous metals. This film may be applied to the substrate by dipping, spraying or brushing and prevent atmospheric corrosion even under conditions of high humidity. Metal Guard 180 is recommended for use as a final dip for black oxide and zinc or manganese phosphate coatings. Parts may be dipped while they are still wet from final rinse stage since the displaced water rapidly settles to the bottom of the dip tank where it is periodically drawn off.
Metal Guard 310 is an economical and versatile rust preventative, which leaves a corrosion-resistant, semi-dry film. Metal Guard 310 can be mixed with water in proportions ranging from 5 to 50% by volume, depending upon the desired degree of dryness and final film thickness. A “dry-to-the-touch” film is obtained on zinc phosphate surfaces when mixed at a ratio of one-part Metal Guard 310 to 8 parts of water. It is heated to 150°F, and is applied by dipping, spraying or brushing.
Metal Guard 320 is an economical and versatile rust-preventative soluble oil, which when mixed with warm water and heated to 140°F to150°F leaves a corrosion-resistant, semi- dry film. Metal Guard 320 is an excellent rust preventive recommended for “dry-to-touch” finish requirements on phosphate surfaces specified for military and automotive applications. A 10% percent solution of Metal Guard 320 will provide 250 to 300 hours of ASTM B-117 salt spray protection over a heavy zinc phosphate coating. Metal Guard 320 is also recommended for use on black oxide and bare steel surfaces. Metal Guard 320 is typically applied to metal surfaces by immersion, however it can be brushed or sprayed as well. Metal Guard 320 can be mixed with water, preheated to 120°F to130°F, in the proportions of 5% to 25% by volume, depending upon the final film thickness and dryness desired.
Metal Guard 410 is a solvent-based, polar water-displacing rust preventive which can be applied by dipping, spraying or brushing. It will displace moisture on the metal surface, leaving a continuous film of Metal Guard 410 directly in contact with the metal surface. It is used as received at room temperature. Metal Guard 410 meets Military Specifications: Mil-C-16173D Grade 3 & Mil-C-22235A.
Metal Guard 410 will displace the rinse water to the bottom of the tank, where it can be periodically drawn off. Metal Guard 410 is also an excellent final finish for zinc phosphate or manganese phosphate coatings and will give up to 200 hours salt spray. Metal Guard 410 is also used for protection against rust and corrosion on automobile parts and accessories, sewing machines, firearms, fasteners of all types, small gasoline engines, machine tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and metal stampings. Metal Guard 410 is formulated to deposit a slightly oily, thin, transparent corrosion resistant finish.
Metal Guard 450 is a low odor, non-staining, water-displacing rust preventive with excellent penetrating properties. That is applied to aluminum, steel, Stainless Steel, or copper alloy substrates by spray, immersion, brushing, or flood coating. Metal Guard 450 meets Mil-C-16173 Grade 3 Specifications. Metal Guard 450 is also used for protection against rust and corrosion on automobile parts and accessories, sewing machines, firearms, fasteners of all types, small gasoline engines, machine tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and metal stampings.

It is a solvent-based, water-displacing rust preventive, which can be applied by dipping, spraying or brushing and will displace moisture on the metal surface, leaving a continuous film of Metal Guard 510 in direct contact with the metal surface. Metal Guard 510 is also used for protection against rust and corrosion on automobile parts and accessories, sewing machines, firearms, fasteners of all types, small gasoline engines, machine tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and metal stampings.
Metal Guard 520 is the culmination of several months of intense research to develop a “dry-to-touch” water displacing thin film rust preventive that when applied as the final sealant to black oxide coatings will result in exceptional corrosion resistance in the range of 100-150 hours per ASTM B-117 specifications. Metal Guard 520 can be applied to aluminum, steel, stainless steel or copper alloy substrates by spray, immersion, brushing or flood coating.
Metal Guard 700 is an emulsion rust preventative offering outstanding corrosion protection to blackened, phosphate, and bare metal surfaces during storage and transportation. After water evaporation, this emulsion leaves an extremely thin dry film. Metal Guard 700 is normally used as received but may be diluted with water, in special applications. Since Metal Guard 700 is a water emulsion, parts can be processed through it without pre-drying. Some care should be exercised, however, to prevent too great a carryover of water which would, in time, dilute the emulsion resulting in a thinner deposit with lower protective quality. Metal Guard 700 coating will air-dry in a relatively short time. The drying period can be shortened by force drying with warm air or in heated spin dryers. If it becomes necessary to reprocess the parts, the coating may be removed in a hot alkaline cleaner or vapor degreaser.
METAL GUARD 800 is a clear, non-flammable, mildly alkaline liquid which is used in metal finishing processes for protecting ferrous metals against rust during an “in process” operation.

Metal Guard 850 is a liquid rust preventative which when mixed with water, readily forms an effective rust preventative for iron and steel fabrications that are packaged and stored indoors. Metal Guard 850 was developed to replace rust preventatives based upon sodium nitrite and nitrite/amine systems.
Metal Guard® 820 is a water-soluble alkaline liquid concentrate specifically formulated to provide temporary rust protection of steel indoors. It leaves a dry, invisible, non-oily film that will not hinder subsequent operations. Metal Guard 820 solutions can be used as a final dip in tumbling or soak operations to prevent possible oxidation of steel parts. Being a water solution, it does not present a fire hazard nor does it present a toxicity problem.
Neutral Salt H is a chemically balanced mixture of chlorides formulated for a specific range of operating temperatures. All chemical incorporated into formulation are technical grade to insure a high purity, high grade, trouble-free mixture. Neutral Salt H is used as a neutral molten salt for the heat treatment of high carbon alloy steels and stainless steels which require hardening temperature within the 1300F to 1900F range of temperatures. It is also used as a pre-heat salt bath prior to the high heat, high speed hardening bath.
Neutral Salt HHS (SST 170) is a chemically balanced mixture of chlorides formulated for a specific range of operating temperatures. All chemicals incorporated into the formulation are technical grade to insure high purity, high grade, trouble-free mixture. Neutral Salt HHS (SST 170) is used as a molten salt bath for a neutral heat transfer medium within its operating range of temperatures (1900 – 2400oF.) for the heat treatment of alloy steels requiring temperatures within the temperature range of Neutral Salt HHS (SST 170). It is also used for the heat treatment of high-speed steels requiring temperatures of 2100oF. Neutral Salt HHS (SST 170) can be used up to 2400oF.
Neutral Salt Rectifier Pellets are a blend of chloride salts added to neutral hardening salt baths to neutralize alkalinity due to sodium oxide build up in the salt.
Sodium Nitrite Test: Rinse and fill 25 mL sample tube (#9198R) to 25 mL mark with water to be tested. Add 25 drops R-0729 Sulfuric Acid 50%. Swirl to mix.
CAUTION: R-0729 Sulfuric Acid 50% is a corrosive acid. Handle carefully. Using 1.0 mL pipet (#9010), add R-0730 Permanganate Reagent dropwise, swirling and counting after each drop, until sample changes from colorless to a faint but permanent pink (Fig. 1), which persists for at least 1 minute. Multiply drops of R-0730 Permanganate Reagent by 100. Record as parts per million (ppm) sodium nitrite (NaNO2).
NOTE: For results as nitrite (NO2– ), multiply sodium nitrite (NaNO2) concentration by 0.67.
NOR Deodorant is a liquid odor neutralizer for use in general janitorial and odor control applications. NOR Deodorant neutralizes and eliminates odor emanating from toilets, garbage cans, disposals, pet accidents, or anywhere noxious odor exists. NOR Deodorant is safe for use when mixed with water based cleaning solutions.
PC-450 is a carbonate based, liquid developer concentrate for developing fully or semi aqueous dry films and/or liquid photo imagable solder masks. Unlike conventional stabilizers, the PC-Series stabilizers do significantly increase the pH of the solution and can be employed at concentrations high enough to obtain 15-20% more throughput using the same volume of chemistry.
This economical concentrate can also be employed in manual or automated replenishment systems. When used in combination with Seacole’s PC-AUTO/Controller and Dosing Device, the PC-Series Developer baths may be operated for 4-20 weeks continuously and without dumping (depending upon throughput). The PC-AUTO/Controller will automatically make additions of developer concentrate and water, maintaining the pH at +/-0.02 pH units and the carbonate concentration at +/-0.03% by weight, resulting in predictable developing quality without adjusting the conveyor speed.

Power Bite is a low foaming, heavy-duty liquid floor cleaner formulated for manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and shop floors. Power Bite was engineered for automatic floor scrubbers to prevent excess foam problems. Power Bite provides extra penetration of the toughest grease and oil laden floors and will not remove or harm common shop floor sealants.
PRO/Strip 2101-B is the second step of a twostep, nitric acid based tin and tin-lead stripping solution designed specifically for dual tank dip applications. PRO/Strip 2101-B is designed to remove the copper-tin intermetallic layer, not stripped by PRO/Strip 2100S Special during the first step. Additionally, PRO/Strip 2101-B will clean the copper and deposit an anti-tarnish coating, leaving a very stable, uniform, and bright finish ideal for AOI inspection.
PRO/Strip 3040 is an economical, single step, nitric acid / ferric nitrate-based tin and tin-lead stripping solution designed specifically for spray applications. Depending upon use, PRO/Strip 3040 can strip up to 210 g/L (28 oz/g) total metal with minimal precipitate formation. PRO/Strip 3040 is equally effective stripping plated or fused solder. PRO/STRIP 3040 is suitable for feed and bleed replenishment.
PRO/Strip 2100S Special is the first step of a two-step nitric acid-based tin and tin-lead stripping solution designed specifically for dual tank dip applications. PRO/Strip 2100S Special is designed to remove 80% – 95% of the tin or tin/lead etch resist, leaving only the copper-tin intermetallic layer to be stripped in the second step, using PRO/Strip 2101-B.
The PULSAtron Series MP pump offers automatic control; 4-20mA and 20-4mA current signals can be ratioed from 100% to 2% of incoming signal. The manual control feature allows for a combined 1000:1 turndown resulting in accurate metering for critical applications.
Series MP features relay output for computer interface or AC power allows for external control. There is a six-button touch pad control with internationally recognized symbols for simplified programming.
There are alarm signals for signal loss, full count, circuit failure, pulse overflow and pulse rate high. Liquid low level indicator capability is standard. Our 864A is a concentrated scale inhibitor and anti-foulant. 864A prevents scale build up in water heaters, heat exchangers and their transfer lines. 864A is pumped into feed line of direct contact water heaters by a diaphragm pump. RE/Gen CC-40 is a concentrated, stabilized, and buffered sodium chlorate solution designed to economically and safely regenerate cupric chloride etching systems utilizing the VIS-U-ETCH system and a secondary specific gravity control. The specific gravity controller utilizes water from the cupric etchant post rinse, thereby reducing rinse water volume requiring waste treatment. The use of sodium chlorate versus chlorine gas as the regenerative oxidizer, provides several safety advantages; most important of which is the elimination of chlorine gas storage and reduced potential for chlorine gas generation during replenishment.
RE/Gen CC-45 is a concentrated, buffered sodium chlorate solution designed to economically and safely regenerate cupric chloride etching systems. The use of sodium chlorate versus chlorine gas as the regenerative oxidizer, provides several safety advantages; most important of which is the elimination of chlorine gas storage. Additionally, sodium chlorate final etching systems can be operated at comparable speeds while improving the undercut or etch factor, compared to traditional chlorine gas system. Being a concentrated liquid, CC-45 is easier to handle than dry sodium chlorate and was designed for replenishment systems which employ an ORP controller, specific gravity controller, and specific ion electrode.
Release is an aluminum safe detergent designed for exterior washing, cleaning, and descaling. Used as step one, in a two-step exterior wash. Release brightens aluminum: saddle tanks, tankers, and trailers.
Screen Cleaner SC-400 is designed to remove soldermask ink from screen printed fabrics.

Additionally, Stripol NI Ultra is especially formulated to strip nickel from high current density areas. This chemical is slightly alkaline and can be used at room temperature without the need of electrical current.
650 Retouche P are special felt tip markers, similar to highlighter pens, designed for the repair of mechanically damaged aluminium surface by scratches, abrasions, etc.

On top of some alloys, especially on cast alloys with high silicon content, the SurTec 650 layer can maybe hardly be seen. Rough surfaces can restrict the iridescent effect of the layer as well.
SurTec 668 is a chromium(VI)-free blue passivation for zinc that is suitable for all zinc processes. SurTec 668 has good corrosion protection with excellent color and brilliance.
